TERMS OF SERVICE
SECTION 1 - SALE OF LIQUOR
To comply with the Sale of Liquor Act 2012, Leo and Gatsby Limited trading as In Vino Veritas has a license to sell liquor, granted by the Christchurch City Council. Our license number is 60/OFF/39/2015 issued on May 18th 2015. You can view this license by clicking here.
Customers must be 18 or over and not be intoxicated to make purchases on this site. It is illegal to purchase alcohol when under the age of 18 and it is also illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor.
As per the liquor license conditions no liquor will be sold or delivered on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day or before 1pm on Anzac Day.
SECTION 2 - PRICING POLICY
All prices are displayed in NZD and GST inclusive. We reserve the right to change any prices, including the cost of freight at any time.
SECTION 3 - DELIVERY POLICY
Orders placed before 1pm NZST Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be shipped that day.
Deliveries are sent to the address supplied during checkout. If the address provided is incorrect and the courier cannot deliver and the parcel is returned to us, there will be an additional fee charged to resend to the correct address. Please ensure all addresses are correct and written in full.
We cannot ship to P.O Boxes.
We use a signature required courier, so if the recipient of your parcel is not home, they will be left a card to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel from the local post depo. We suggest using a work address if no one is at home during the day.
SECTION 4 - PRIVACY POLICY
Through our website and promotional programmes it is necessary to obtain certain private details. These are required for instance to deliver goods to you or even to deliver one of our promotional give aways.
Customers through purchasing through the website will provide information of themselves, such as name, email address, phone contact etc.
Firstly we do not disclose, sell or trade any of this information to others. We do however, use this information to improve our promotion and marketing of our products whether by our website. All payment transactions are by Payment Express/DPS. This system of payment securely authorises credit card payments prior to any charges made to your card.
Security of our systems and personal information is important to us at In Vino Veritas but we cannot take responsibility for any damage, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destroy of any personal information which you have submitted to us.
SECTION 5 - RETURNS POLICY
All sales at the time of the transaction being processed are final, refunds will only be given at In Vino Veritas discretion.
If any Product is delivered to you in a damaged or spoiled condition, or fails to be delivered due to damage. In Vino Veritas will re-deliver the order. All breakage, Non Delivery or Lost Items must be brought to In Vino Veritas attention within 48hrs of the occurrence to remain a viable claim.
If In Vino Veritas fails to deliver any product ordered and paid for by you, In Vino Veritas may, at your request, either:
a) subject to stock availability, deliver the Relevant Product to you at no extra cost; or
b) Refund the amount paid for the Relevant Product (determined as at the date of the relevant order).
